Over the past few months, I received many questions and comments and have had some meaningful discussions regarding Bill C-7: An Act to amend the Criminal Code (Medical Assistance in Dying).
Medical Assistance in Dying is a very personal issue that some in our community and across Canada care deeply passionate about. For this reason, I have arranged an online, bilingual, informative session with Canada’s Minister of Justice, my colleague the Honourable David Lametti, to discuss what this Bill means for you and the safeguards in place to protect Canadians.
This important discussion will take place on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at 3:30pm in an online webinar format and will be open to residents of our Federal riding of Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Pre-registration is required and questions are welcomed and encouraged from all participants. To save time, and if possible, I invite you to submit them in advance.
