I’m pleased to share some exciting news that will make a real difference in the lives of countless families in our community of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and across Canada.
This past Saturday, the Government of Canada announced a major expansion of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) — a milestone step in our commitment to making health care more accessible and affordable for all.
Starting in May 2025, millions more Canadians will become eligible for dental coverage, with the program now expanded to include those aged 18 to 64 making under $90,000 with no access to dental insurance. This plan will help cover essential services such as exams, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, and more — giving people the care they need without worrying about the cost.
We believe no one should have to choose between taking care of their teeth and putting food on the table. This expanded coverage is about dignity, health, and fairness — and I’m proud to be part of a government delivering real, meaningful support to Canadians.
